2009 International Photography Awards Announces Winners of the Competition
Raffaele Tuzio was awarded in the International Photography Awards Competition.
International Photography Awards (IPA) has announced the winners of 2009's competition.
Raffaele Tuzio was Awarded:
- Honorable Mention in Editorial - Environmental category
for the winning entry "Lost fishing in Kerala."
- Honorable Mention in Architecture - Historic category
for the winning entry "Sabratha."
- Honorable Mention in Special - Travel/Tourism category
for the winning entry "Tent On The Sand."
ABOUT Winner:
Raffaele Tuzio is a photographer based in Rome. He was born in Benevento and his passion for photography began at the end of 70th years. In 1988 he went to Rome where he was involved occasionally in travel photography. During these years he travelled all around the world. In the 90th started his collaboration with the italian tour operator “sentieri di nuove esperienze”, a company specialised in cultural tourism. Raffaele is consultant for tours planning and he directs a long term project to increase the company image.

The 2009 International Photography Awards received nearly 18,000 submissions from 104 countries across the globe. IPA is a sister-effort of the Lucie Foundation, where the top three winners are announced at the annual Lucie Awards gala ceremony.
